One of the largest company-operated C-store chains in the United States.  Delek US’ retail segment, MAPCO Express, is one of the largest company-operated convenience store chains in the United States, and one of the leading C-store operators in the Southeast.  The Company currently operates more than 430 locations in eight states.  More than half of the retail segment’s store locations are in Tennessee, and the Company owns the real estate of more than half of the stores it operates.

Full-service fuel and convenience store model.  Our stores market fuel under various major oil company brands, including BP®, Shell®, Conoco®, Exxon®, Chevron®, in addition to our own brands.  Inside our stores, we feature a suite of premium branded and unbranded soft drinks, beer, cigarettes, snacks, packaged food and other general merchandise.  More recently, we have begun to selectively introduce fresh, proprietary made-to-order to meals in our newer prototype locations, while also adopting quick-service restaurant (QSR) concepts in select markets.

Becoming the neighborhood convenience store.  MAPCO has acquired numerous store brands as a result of its focus on growth through acquisition.  Today, the retail segment operates under the MAPCO Express®, MAPCO Mart®, East Coast®, Fast Food and Fuel™, Favorite Markets®, Delta Express® and Discount Food Mart™ brand names.  Over time, the Company’s objective is to consolidate these brands under the umbrella of a single, MAPCO brand name.

Reimaging and remodeling underway.  Beginning in 2006, we began a multi-year capital plan to reimage our convenience stores.  Between 2006 and 2009, our team re-imaged approximately one-third of our store base.  We plan to continue our reimaging program in core markets and will utilize the upscale imagery of these next generation stores to increase traffic and support the in-store profitability of our locations.
