Mr. Moreno has served as one of our directors since March 2022 and has served as a member of the Audit and Technology Committees since October 2022. Mr. Moreno has over 17 years of experience in the energy industry. Since July of 2023 he has served as Chief Executive Officer of Solarpack, a multinational corporation specializing in the development, construction, commercialization, and operation of large-scale renewable projects.

Mr. Moreno also served as President of the AES Corporation from 2020 to 2023. Prior to President, Mr. Moreno held various executive positions with the AES Corporation, including Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Investments and Chief Commercial Officer from 2017 to 2020, Chief Financial Officer, Europe from 2015 to 2016, and other leadership roles related to strategy, finance, commercial, investments, mergers and acquisitions, and sustainability. Mr. Moreno has also served as Chairman of the Board of the American Clean Power Association from 2022 to 2023, director of AES Brasil Energia S.A. (AESB3:BZ) from 2018 to February 2022, and alternate director of AES Andes S.A. (AESANDES.SN) since 2018. Mr. Moreno also served as a Senior Auditor for Ernst & Young in Brazil from 2003 to 2005.
